Uber’s efforts to be more ‘green’

Uber has been working on adding electric vehicles to its fleet for the past few years. They announced an $800 million investment for electrification in 2020 and aimed to have an all-electric fleet by 2040.

Uber Comfort Electric prices are higher than Uber X but lower than Uber Black.

Uber and Hertz

Uber partnered with car rental company Hertz last year so drivers could rent Teslas through the Uber app. According to Uber, 15,000 drivers have rented a Tesla through Hertz.
