Singer, actress, and multi-talented entertainer Teyana Taylor recently treated her two daughters to a luxurious vacation in the Bahamas.
This getaway comes at a difficult time for Taylor and her daughters. The past year has been tumultuous for the family, with Taylor finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Iman Shumpert in June. Despite initial attempts to keep the split private, court documents leaked late last year, turning their personal matters into public knowledge. The Bahamas trip is a positive step forward, allowing Taylor to focus on quality time with her children.
Teyana Taylor’s Much-Needed Escape With Her Daughters
Taylor and her daughters Junie (8) and Rue (3) chose The Cove at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas as their destination. During their trip, mother and daughters did a wide range of things. They had dinner at Nobu’s private Sake Room and Seafire Steakhouse, swam in the resort pools, and dared to ride the water slides at Aquaventure. Also, the three shopped at Atlantis’ Marina Village, where they picked up some Barbie Bahamas Beach Vacation merchandise.

As Taylor prepares to return to her professional life, including her upcoming role in Ryan Murphy’s new series “All’s Fair,” this vacation serves as a perfect transition.
The star has previously credited her daughters for helping her stay in shape, telling Us Weekly, “Dancing with my kids is really what does it for me. They keep me so active and I love to dance.” This holiday most certainly gave her plenty of opportunities for such happy, active times with her kids.
