The first Stargazing Concierge at Sandals Resorts will be available at the newly renovated Sandals Dunn’s River in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, just in time for the summer solstice. The resort’s new Coyaba Sky Villa Swim-up Rondoval Suites come equipped with this interplanetary amenity, and the resort’s management encourages guests to take full advantage of it.
In addition to the first open-air rooftop suites with state-of-the-art telescopes, the newly opened Sandals Dunn’s River also features the first Stargazing Concierge for the brand. As part of a new Butler service, a Stargazing Concierge will welcome Coyaba Sky Villa Swim-up Rondoval Suite guests who book their trip on or after July 1.
The Stargazing Concierge will set up special stargazing excursions for couples on their rooftops upon request. According to Sandals Resorts, the Stargazing Concierge does more than set the mood for a romantic evening under the stars in the Caribbean. They also teach visitors how to spot constellations and track meteor showers.
Sandals is providing each couple staying in the villas with a free, custom star map depicting their stargazing experience. Sandals’ groundbreaking new stargazing service is supported by science.
Romantic Vacations
According to Sandals, the vast majority of couples (80 percent) want to prioritize romance this year, according to a recent survey by the Sandals Institute of Romance. Beach vacations (67 percent) and secluded places (57 percent) are preferred settings for connection.
