If you think the days of finding a cheap flight this July are over, don’t give up hope so easily. Even amid rising gas prices, there are still cheap destinations you can travel to this July.

It’s perfect timing, as most places are going all out during this summer with festivals and other things to do.

Get your bags ready. Here are five of the cheapest destinations where you can travel this July for less than $400 round-trip.

1. Toronto, Canada For As Low As $153 RT

If one thing is clear about these summer 2022 flight deals, it’s that Toronto wants all the smoke regarding visitors. Flights to Toronto have made the list for the second month in a row, as it’s priced at less than $200 round-trip for people leaving New York City, Washington, D.C., and more.

Thank you, Canada, for being both an ally for women’s rights and cheap flights during this troubling time.

The cheapest option leaves Nashville for $153 round-trip on Flair Airlines. Use July 7 through July 14 as your travel dates.

There’s plenty to do and see in Toronto in July. Like most places that experience cold weather for most of the year, it’s all about being outside in this vibrant multicultural city.

There are boat parties nearly every weekend in July, and you can get a taste of the Caribbean at Jambana One World Festival.

2. Belize City For As Low As $160 RT

If you want to spend the month of July relaxing and feeling at home with people who look like you, do yourself a favor and take advantage of this flight deal to Belize City.

It’s a great and quick getaway that offers you the luxury of unplugging in the middle of the jungle or right on the beach. There’s something for everyone.

During your stay, you can shop with the locals, dive into Caye Caulker Marine Reserve or go swimming with sharks at HOL CHAN CUT.

Don’t leave without visiting Elvi’s Kitchen. It’s known for its Mayan-Caribbean fusion cuisine, which locals say is one of the best in the city.

Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, D.C., and Charlotte are all cities that will get you to Belize City for less than $300 round-trip.

Orlando, however, is the cheapest on Skyscanner.

Use July 16 through July 23 as your travel dates for a round-trip ticket on Frontier Airlines for $160.

3. Liberia, Costa Rica For As Low As $218 RT

Round up the friends and fam from other cities. This deal to Liberia, Costa Rica could benefit the entire crew, allowing you to take that group vacation you’ve been planning.

Liberia is all about the outdoors and adventure with ziplining, horse rides, volcano-waterfalls, and hot springs rated as top attractions.

Liberia is situated between the Guanacaste, Rincon de la Vieja, Santa Rosa, and Palo Verde National Parks.

Another fun experience is Diamante Eco Adventure Park, where you will have a lifetime thrill as it’s home to the longest zip line in Central America. The 4,000-foot-long zipline is named Superman and overlooks the Pacific. It’s breathtaking.

4. Oranjestad, Aruba For As Low As $283 RT

Aruba isn’t called “One Happy Island” for nothing. How could you not be happy when surrounded by beautiful beaches, blue waters, friendly people, and delicious food?

Speaking of beaches, Aruba has no shortage of water adventure, including snorkeling, parasailing, and exploring the island in a submarine. Don’t forget to visit the island’s famous Flamingo Beach at the Renaissance Hotel.

You can travel to Oranjestad from New York, Orlando, and New Orleans for less than $400 round-trip.

According to Skyscanner, the cheapest option leaves from Fort Lauderdale on July 16 and returns on July 23 for $281 round-trip.

5. Havana Cuba For As Low As $325 RT

We tend to try and avoid Caribbean flight deals during the Atlanta Hurricane season, but statistically speaking, most hurricanes occur between August and October.

Cuba in July is relatively safe, but be sure to  have a back-up plan, just in case.

Highlghts include Fabrica de Arte (F.A.C.), located just outside of Havana in Mirimar.  F.A.C. is an art gallery, movie theater, live music hall, restaurant, bar, and night club.

Next, head over to Calle Obispo. It’s he main street where you can find most people hanging out. There are food carts, restaurants, live music, and shops all up and down the street.

Lastly, be sure to hang out at a salsa club where you can listen to live music.

Flights are available from Miami, Tampa, and Washington, D.C.
