Travelers’ wishes and desires have changed a lot since 2020. Although travel is still a top priority, the destinations and reasons for travel are different. Inflation in gas prices, car rentals, and flight cancellations have also contributed to travelers’ changing their preferences, with many now preferring domestic travel.
Property broker company Pacaso recently surveyed 1,000 Americans about their travel habits. Of the 1,000 people surveyed, only 1 in 4 travelers under 30 years of age highly prioritize international travel over domestic travel.
