Streaming juggernaut Netflix plans to open its first two experiential entertainment hubs in 2025. Respectively located in Dallas, Texas and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, the company says the immersive entertainment, retail, and dining venues “will bring some of our most beloved titles to life.”
On June 20, the brand’s Tudum shared that Netflix House will be a place where fans can have IRL experiences with the streamer’s shows and movies year-round.
The site’s coverage noted that the projects will build on some of the streamer’s previous live experiences, like those from Bridgerton, Money Heist, Stranger Things, and Squid Games. The streamer’s previous IRL events have included a Knives Out dinner experience, a Bridgerton Queen’s Ball, and an Our Planet symphony orchestra tour.
What Can Netflix House Visitors Expect?
Netflix House will be in former department stores larger than 100,000 square feet at the Galleria Dallas and King of Prussia shopping malls. In addition to the immersive, retail, and dining areas, visitors will be around artwork related to the streamer’s offerings. Tudum detailed sculptures and “mash-up murals” of beloved characters.
“At Netflix House, you can enjoy regularly updated immersive experiences, indulge in retail therapy, and get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings,” said Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’ve launched more than 50 experiences in 25 cities, and Netflix House represents the next generation of our distinctive offerings. The venues will bring our beloved stories to life in new, ever-changing, and unexpected ways.”
“Netflix selected the locations because they are part of two of the most popular shopping centers in America, boasting hundreds of retailers, high foot traffic, and proximity to major cities,” added Tudum.
When Does It Open?
There’s no word yet on the exact opening dates of the Dallas and King of Prussia locations. Those interested in getting sneak peeks, exclusive content, or early entry are encouraged to register on Netflix House’s website.
