JW Marriott has opened its first hotel in Dallas, Texas, located in the heart of the city’s vibrant arts district. Cultural landmarks surround the hotel such as the Dallas Museum of Art and the Winspear Opera House. The hotel’s design incorporates artistic influences and features over 20 original artworks commissioned specifically for the property.

The hotel’s design includes an impressive 267 rooms, three restaurants, and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space. JW Marriott Dallas Arts District also boasts a grand mid-air pool and deck with stunning views of downtown Dallas.

In addition to its artistic design, the JW Marriott Dallas Arts District offers a range of mindfulness and well-being experiences. Guests can explore the surrounding neighborhood, which is home to numerous cultural and arts venues. The option to participate in bespoke programming offered by the hotel is also available for guests. The goal is to provide its guests with opportunities to relax, increase focus, and reduce stress.

The Dallas hotel’s dining options also pay homage to the arts community. Margaret’s, a three-meal ranch-to-table restaurant, is named after philanthropist Margaret McDermott. Its menu incorporates seasonal flavors and locally-sourced ingredients. Vincent’s Sky Lounge offers cocktails and bites with views of the Dallas night sky. A street-level cocktail lounge, 800 North, also serves innovative drinks and light bites. All three outlets incorporate herbs grown in the hotel’s hydroponic JW Garden.

Exploring the Hotel’s neighboring Cultural Institutions

“Much like the introspective way guests explore the hotel’s neighboring cultural institutions, JW Marriott Dallas Arts District will provide travelers with even more ways to enjoy every moment to the fullest and find inspiration and moments of mindfulness during their stay,” said Bruce Rohr, Global Brand Leader at JW Marriott.

The JW Marriott Dallas Arts District also offers over 20,000 square feet of flexible space, including banqueting and ballrooms. The hotel’s Harwood Ballroom features a contemporary ceiling detail inspired by Dallas’ iconic Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Similarly, the Flora Ballroom boasts a custom ceiling design that mimics sound waves. The hotel also features a unique space, the Pearl Room, which is an all-white room with hardwood flooring, customized for different events.

For guests looking for a moment of tranquility, the hotel has created four serene spaces within its lobby and pre-function areas. These spaces offer comfortable seating and a peaceful atmosphere for guests to relax or connect with their thoughts. The hotel also has an Executive Lounge that can accommodate large groups for breakfast or cocktails.

The JW Marriott Dallas Arts District aims to provide guests with a luxurious, artistic experience in the heart of Dallas’ cultural scene. With its sophisticated design, mindful programming, and culinary offerings, the hotel is set to fast become the go-to stay in Dallas.
