If you’re a 80s or even early 90s baby, you’ve likely played Putt Putt at some point in your childhood. While the Putt Putt brand is almost non-existent, mini golf is definitely a thing all across the country, and even the world.
Whether you go as a family, with your significant other, or just for a little competition between friends— mini golf is an activity that will never get old.
But, what happens when you mix a retro cocktail lounge with the leisure sport?
Welcome to Charlotte’s STROKE.
Opened in early 2020, it’s one of the city’s best kept secrets. After shutting down briefly during the pandemic, the urban golf lounge is now welcoming guests again, safely of course.
One side of the building is a fun, retro lounge with a neon sign sure to be the envy of your social media followers. Each season brings a revamped cocktail menu and light bites for your snacking pleasure. Masks are required when not actively eating or drinking.
The other side of the building features the mini golf course filled with tons of greenery and cute decorations, including a flamingo and branded golf cart. For only $10, you can spend the day playing as much mini golf as you please. Yes, that’s the price for unlimited tee time. But, you will need to reserve a time slot first.
There are also golf leagues for those who truly enjoy competing and teeing off against others. The latest league will begin April 1.
Be sure to check the brand’s social media page for cocktail specials including $4 mimosas and Bloody Mary’s on Sunday Funday.
