With the transition to fall comes pumpkins, hoodies and plenty of festivals focused on food and drink. Here are four food festivals in the United States to check out.

New York’s Wine & Food Festival

If there’s one thing New York has in abundance, it’s wine and food. The New York City Wine & Food Festival is put on each year by the Food Network. From Oct. 12 to Oct. 15, enjoy sit-down meals, wine and cocktails, cooking demos and plenty more. Most of the events are geared towards attendees aged 21 years and older with some exceptions.

Atlanta’s Food & Wine Festival

One thing you can be pretty sure of when in Atlanta is that the food won’t disappoint. This festival started in 2011, and since then, it has grown to epic proportions. From Sept. 20 to Sept. 24, rub shoulders with other food enthusiasts, sommeliers and chefs. Expect a blend of locals and tourists coming together for the love gastronomy.

Chicago’s Gourmet

This festival takes place Sept. 21 to Sept. 24 on the Harris Theater Rooftop in Millennium Park, along with other venues across the city. The itinerary is packed with exciting events, starting with Tacos and Tequila. Also on the agenda is Hamburger Hop, Late Night Gourmet, Gran Cru and the Rise and Shine Gourmet. It concludes with the Oktoberfest-inspired Prost! In The Park.

Louisville Chocolate, Wine & Whiskey Festival

On Nov. 4, the Mellwood Arts Center in Louisville, Kentucky, offers plenty to eat and drink. Attendees can sample chocolates, boozy milkshakes, pastries and more. If you’re craving something savory, there will be options available for an additional price. As you might expect, this festival is strictly 21 and over.
