Paris is home to some of the world’s best croissants and cafe cremes, but there is so much more to Parisian breakfasts and brunches.
From seafood to chocolate acai bowls, caramel pancakes and more, here are some of the best brunch places in Paris:
Café de Flore
Located in the corner of Boulevard Saint-Germain and Rue Saint-Benoit, this venue is one of the oldest coffee houses in Paris.
The café, which opened in the 1880s, is known to be a popular place among celebrities.
Here, you can enjoy a classic Parisian brunch and atmosphere.
Season
Season is a new restaurant in Paris that is both trendy and healthy. The restaurant built its menu based on what the owners call one rule of nutrition: fresh produce cannot be consumed all year-round. Because of this, you will not find the same menu here each time you travel to Paris.
The restaurant touts its world cuisine with a French flavor. The brunch menu, for now, includes caramel pancakes, a chocolate acai bowl, sweetcorn fritters, and more.
Café Méricourt
Thanks to popular demand, Café Oberkampf’s owners decided to expand its presence with a second location, known as Café Méricourt.
Brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, and on the menu you will find Café Méricourt’s famous Shakshuka: a Mediterranean egg-based dish with tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, harissa and spices.
Pancake Sisters
At Pancake Sisters, the owners specialize, in yes, pancakes! Their most popular dish is the Panster, a round and fluffy sandwich where the bread has been replaced by pancakes, according to the restaurant’s website.
Polpo
Located on the banks of the Seine River, Polpo offers stunning views of the water and a variety of seafood platters.
Le Loulou
Located in the Latin Quarter, Loulou is an Australian inspired cafe and restaurant that offers foodies an array of healthy comfort foods and juices.
Treize Bakery Paris
Looking for all-day brunch? Treize Bakery is where you want to go. The menu changes with the seasons, but here you can find french toast and chicken, pancakes and spiced apple butter, and its own Treize Benedict.
