This month has been very exciting for luxury lovers in NYC as Aman New York officially opens its doors. The highly exclusive hotel is a new incarnation of the 100-year-old Crown Building at 57th and Fifth, and is seriously expensive.
The hotel was due to open in 2020 but then of course the pandemic happened. Now 2 years later, the highly anticipated opening has turned many heads in the big city. The 83-suite-hotel is an ultra-luxury addition to NYC. If you want to check it out the best chance of getting in is a $200,000 club initiation fee.
During the pre-opening period, there was a $100,000 initiation fee to become founding members of its world-first Aman Club. True to its exclusivity, the sign-up cost has since doubled – and that’s not even to speak of the $15,000 for annual dues. Rates for base rooms start at $3,200 to $4,600 per night. Additionally, the 340-square-foot studios can solely be booked as an adjoining option for $20,000-per-night corner suites.
Aman hotels have a reputation in luxury hospitality that is hard to ignore. Booking an Aman reservation in any corner of the world is a costly though truly luxurious affair. The New York hotel has not come to disappoint, in fact the very opposite. The opening which took place on August 2 2022 added to NYC’s already famous rep for the high life.
