TSA PreCheck prices have gone down, sign up now!
The price of TSA PreCheck has gone down, so now is the perfect time to take advantage. In an announcement earlier this month, TSA shared the enrollment fee would be reduced from $85 to $78 for five years.
TSA Administrator David Pekoske said in a release, “TSA PreCheck offers significant benefits to those who meet its enrollment standards — less physical contact, fewer items on the conveyer belt, and faster screening.”
Take advantage of your credit card benefits
Most credit cards offer travel perks, so you should definitely take a look at your card’s benefits. You can even earn points on Lyft, and Uber rides to the airport with certain credit cards.
Travel tip: You can get reimbursed for TSA PreCheck and Global Entry fees if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve, American Express Platinum, or Capital One Venture Card.
Head to airport lounges
After going through TSA, enjoy leisure time before your flight at an airport lounge. If you get a Priority Pass, you’ll have access to over 1,3000 lounges worldwide. Take advantage of Priority Pass’ Black Friday sale until December 4th to get a discounted membership.

Not only are lounges great for relaxing before your flight, but the food and drinks are free!
Reserve a spot in the general security line
There’s still a way to skip lines at the airport without signing up for TSA PreCheck or Clear.
You can reserve a time slot in the general security line for free before arriving at the airport. Make sure to arrive at your reservation time and show your QR code. Reservations are held for 20 minutes.
Try Clear for free
Having a Clear membership is great for skipping lines. Clear ambassadors take you to the front of the line and confirm your identity using biometric data.
From now until December 31st, Clear Plus members can take advantage of a free three-month trial in partnership with Kayak. After three months, the membership will cost $189 a year. You can cancel anytime before the three-month trial ends.
