A TikTok Influencer and college student fell to her death while skydiving in Toronto.
21-year-old Tanya Pardazi died on Aug. 27 after completing a course before a first solo jump, her friend confirms with CTV News Toronto.
Pardazi was a student at the University of Toronto and ran a successful TikTok account with more than 100,000 followers.
Skydive Toronto, the facility she used, requires people to complete fundamental courses that includes information about equipment, how to exit the plane, the freefall body position once out the plane, emergency protocol, and more before they jump solo NBC News reports.

The company released a statement on Facebook confirming her death.
“On Saturday, August 27th, at approximately 6:00 pm EDT, a skydiving student … succumbed to fatal injuries obtained from an emergency situation.
“The skydiver released a quickly rotating main parachute at a low altitude without the time/altitude required for the reserve parachute to inflate.”
Friends Remembers Pardazi As "Brave" and "Adventurous"

Friends and loved ones who knew Pardazi describe her as a young woman who was both brave and adventurous.
“Tanya had an interest in anything that was new and adventurous,” childhood friend Melody Ozgoli tells CTV News Toronto. “Life was too boring for her and she was always trying to do something adventurous.”
“[She was] one of the bravest girls,” another friend, Kimia Sepanlou, tells the outlet. “Whenever we saw her, we knew we were in for an adventure because she didn’t like letting herself, or the people closest to her, get bored.”
Skydive Toronto says it’s working with South Simcoe Police as they investigate the incident.
