Inspiration can find you anywhere, as husband and wife duo, Chris and Fay Breedlove, discovered during the pandemic. When travel restrictions were in full effect in 2020, the couple wanted a way to recreate the feeling of travel at home. That nudge evolved into TERMINAL B, a luxury fragrance brand with unique scent blends named by the airport code of the corresponding destination.

TERMINAL B, a Black-owned business, creates fragrances that brings the feeling that comes with traveling abroad to everyone’s home. The brand name is a nod to LAX, their home airport, where they travel through Tom Bradley International Terminal (Terminal B) to other destinations around the world. The letter “B” also is significant because its the first initial of their last name.

Each candle is curated and hand-poured in Los Angeles with a 60-hour burn time and double wick design.

The Breedloves are passionate about all things international travel, aviation and passport stamps. Beginning at their alma mater, Howard University, the couple’s relationship has taken them to more than 44 cities across five continents. Their mission is authenticity, so they only blend scents for locations they’ve visited.

Sharing their personal experiences, from Paris to Tokyo, here are a few favorite TERMINAL B scents to spark travel joy to your home.

CDG: Paris

Take a trip to France with the CDG candle inspired by Paris. This fresh floral and musk blend reflects the beauty, sensuality and sophistication of the City of Light. With this scent, it won’t be hard to imagine yourself wandering through perfume boutiques along the Avenues des Champs-Élysées.

According to TERMINAL B, the CDG blend is best paired with a glass of sparkling champagne and macarons.

EZE: Buenos Aires

Black currant and amber come together in the EZE candle to embody the spirit of Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires is Argentina’s capital city popular for its tree-lined avenues, art nouveau architecture and sidewalk cafes. Hot winter nights in Recoleta, one of  Buenos Aires’ most elegant neighborhoods, are the inspiration for this scent. Recoleta is known for its Parisian aesthetic, hence the city’s nickname, the Paris of South America.

Enhance the vibe by grabbing your favorite book for an evening read with a glass of Malbec.

LVR: Layover

Embrace the energy of a luxurious sprint between flights with the Layover candle. This intoxicating blend conveys the vibes of a luxury layover in a new city from the lobby of a New York hotel to the streets of Shibuya in Tokyo. Featuring notes of Australian sandalwood, spicy cardamom, warm amber, and musk, this candle reimagines the mystique of short excursions.

Turn on your go-to travel playlist and daydream about where your wanderlust will take you next with this candle.

NRT: Tokyo

The NRT: Tokyo candle transports you to the world’s most populous metropolis and capital of Japan. Millennia-old traditions, futuristic technology and vibrant nightlife are only a few reasons why Tokyo is a top travel destination. NRT channels the city’s futuristic yet traditional, eccentric, unique and unforgettable spirit.

Top notes of ripe, black fig with a heart of hinoki and a cedarwood base celebrate the balance of nature with the bustling city life unique to Tokyo. Rich amber brings balance and blends beautifully to create an accord as complex, bold and mysterious as the city itself.

Immerse yourself in the experience by pairing this candle with an aged bottle of Japanese whiskey.
