Slutty Vegan founder and owner Pinky Cole really made her mark in the vegan restaurant market. After perfecting her finger-licking sauces for her plant-based burgers, the brand quickly took off.

With waits up to 3-4 hours for her food truck, Cole eventually opened a brick-and-mortar in Atlanta that would soon get the same attention. Today, there are multiple locations across the Atlanta-metro area.

But now, Cole is teaming up with Derrick Hayes of Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks to bring a dope, new vegan concept to the city. While this isn’t the duos first time connecting, it is their first joint food business.

Dinkies, Dave + Pinky’s, will serve up Hayes’ famous cheesesteaks in a vegan version, along with egg rolls, cauliflower wings, tator tots and more— also all vegan.

The new eatery is housed in Bar Vegan, inside Atlanta’s Ponce City Market.

Although they just launched on Feb. 28, Cole and Hayes are already in talks to expand the new venture with additional locations.

Last summer, the brand owners teamed up to purchase a car for Tomika Miller, the widow of Rayshard Brooks. They are even working to provide scholarships to his four children to attend Clark Atlanta University.

Dinkies is open daily from 11:30a – 5pm. In accordance with COVID-19 measures, masks are required when not eating and takeout is available.
