Dubai is one of the most desired tourist destinations in the world. And there is good news for Dubai lovers. According to local media outlets, the emirate is expected to open 30 luxury hotels over the next four years.

Atlantis The Royal, the $1.4bn megaproject will be located on Palm Island and it’s scheduled to open in January 2023. Atlantis Resorts is a subsidiary of Kerzner International, a global developer and operator of destination resorts, ultra-luxury hotels and residences.
Designed by world-renowned New York architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), the 43-story building glitters on the crescent of The Palm, located just next door to sister property Atlantis, The Palm, where residents and guests of the Royal Atlantis Hotel will have access to its facilities.
This ultra-luxury entertainment resort features exquisite rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows so guests can soak in the spellbinding views of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Sea.
The resort’s three towers will be home to 795 fit-for-royalty rooms, suites and signature penthouses, while 44 suites are home to private pools where you can swim in the sky. With an infinity sky pool, three guest pools and 2km of beachfront, you can choose how you want to spend your day out.
2. Bab Al Shams Desert Resort
Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is returning after being closed in May this year. This luxury desert resort will start taking bookings again from April 15, 2023.
The resort will offer unique dining experiences, including Modern Arabic cuisine, a rooftop lounge and al fresco dining. There will also be a desert spa with couples’ rooms, a hammam, a plunge pool and its own central courtyard.
3. Voco Dubai The Palm
Voco Dubai The Palm is opening its doors in January 2023. The resort is a beachfront hotel found near Koko Bay. It will offer 143 rooms, and facilities, including private beach access with a beach club, ladies-only spa, family-friendly Maison Mathis restaurant, and a poolside rooftop lounge.
4. Ciel Tower Hotel
The Ciel Tower is set to be the next world’s tallest hotel. Scheduled to open in 2023, it will reach 365 metres high, beating Dubai’s former record holder Gevora Hotel by nine metres.
When completed, Ciel will house over 1,000 guestrooms and suites.
Venues include an all-day dining venue on the 13th floor, a Sunset Lounge on the 74th floor, a rooftop infinity pool and Horizon Bar on the 76th floor and Ciel Observatory & Lounge on the 82nd floor, with 360-degree views of Dubai.
A luxury spa and health club will be located on the building’s 54th floor, offering an impressive Marina view.
5. The Lana
The Lana is expected to open in the summer of 2023.
A striking building positioned among the gleaming skyscrapers of the vibrant Business Bay area and beside the waters of Dubai Canal.
This luxury hotel is located at the heart of life in Dubai, along the waterfront and outings to the nearby Burj Khalifa district.
6. Mama Shelter Dubai
Mama Shelter Dubai belongs to the global Mama Shelter brand. It will add Dubai to its global map in 2023.
It will be home to 197 rooms and 204 apartments, a range of dining outlets, a terrace with four swimming pools, an outdoor CineMama and more. It will be a larger-than-life Mama that embodies the idea of a resort in the heart of the city, recalling the origins of the Trigano family who founded the Mama Shelter group and co-founded Club Med.
7. NH Dubai The Palm
NH Hotels, a famous luxury hotel brand, will open in the Middle East later this year with the opening of NH Dubai The Palm.
The new-build 533-key resort, which is currently in the final phases of development, will open its doors in 2023.
The Palm will be part of Seven Hotel & Apartments, a mixed-use project that will include a hotel and a residential tower.
The hotel will be conveniently located on The Palm’s main trunk, adjacent to The Palm’s largest mall and close to The Pointe’s Palm Fountain, which was recently unveiled as the world’s largest fountain.
The 14-story building will have 227 hotel rooms and suites, as well as 306 serviced flats. Multiple restaurants and bars will be available, as well as three spa treatment rooms, and four conference rooms.
Gymgoers will delight in the most up-to-date equipment for their physical activities. In addition, the hotel will feature a stunning rooftop infinity pool.
