On a runway at Dallas Executive Airport is a restaurant where you will land on some amazing food and an intimate flight to enjoy the views of Texas largest city.
Delta Charlie’s is a fly-in restaurant that offers a 3-Course dinner for two and an aerial tour 1,500 feet above Dallas.
“We launched for Valentine’s 2011,” said Mark Kelcher, owner of Delta Charlie’s. “I was just trying to think of something creative and different to do for my wife. I talked with a flight school at the airport about partnering with dinner and a short discovery flight around downtown Dallas. Demand was so high, that we just kept doing it year-round.”
For Valentine’s Day, Kelcher said the restaurant adds extra planes. Even though Delta Charlie’s is known to be one of the most romantic places, it’s the perfect venue for children and company outings.
“During the pandemic, we have instituted sanitizing planes between each flight, obviously mask-wearing, we spaced tables further apart in the restaurant, and have a limited amount of flights daily to allow for the time to clean,” said Kelcher.
Dinner and flights typically cost between $200-300 per couple.
