Summer is in full swing, which for many of us, means vacation mode. Female solo traveling has been on the rise and more accepted lately with the Caribbean being a hot spot for many.

The recent deaths of travelers in the Dominican Republic have made tourists hesitant to visit this destination, leaving many to wonder: which Caribbean countries are safe for solo female travelers?

Below is a list of Caribbean countries safe for the woman who craves solo travel:

Although Anguilla’s tourism industry is on the rise, they have managed to maintain their laid-back appeal.

With the population being around 15,000, this tiny island has one of the lowest crime rates in the Caribbean.
