An incident on a plane involving a brawl has been taking over social media. A fight during a KLM flight was shown in a video that went viral last week on Thursday morning that shows five men attacking another passenger. The altercation started after one of them used a racial slur against a group of passengers. One of those involved, the man who insulted other passengers, was slightly injured, according to information provided to the local police. The flight departed from Manchester (UK) to Amsterdam (NL) and it was full of passengers who watched the whole incident and panicked.

A video posted on Twitter showing a fight during a KLM flight reached over 2 million views and over 3,000 comments so far.

The footage, originally posted by (@MayaWilkinsonx) on Twitter, shows several men assaulting a passenger, who is only seen at the end of the recording. “Stop it, we’re on a damn plane,” shouts one of the passengers, in English.

At first, comments on Twitter fiercely criticized the group who attacked the man, asking what was the cause of the fight.

However, another video, posted by @MoniqueCherrie, shows that the passenger who was beaten was getting thrown off the plane for being racially abusive.

“45 second limitations but this is earlier in the vid, person recording says he was getting booted off for racially abusing other passengers. Happy for a pile on in these circumstances .”

According to Daily Mail, the six passengers involved in the brawl were arrested on landing at Schiphol Airportunder ‘unlawful/disruptive behaviour onboard the aircraft (Dutch Aviation Act).

“Yesterday we had some unruly passengers on our KLM 1070 flight from Manchester to Amsterdam. The captain and cabin crew put an end to a brawl between two groups of passengers. No delay occurred. KLM does not tolerate aggression against employees or passengers. We apologize to our passengers who may have been affected by the incident,” KLM said in an official statement.
