A white male passenger has been banned from JetBlue following a racist rant onboard.
Videos shared across multiple social media platforms shows an unidentified white man wearing a Burger King crown yelling at crew members and demanding them to call the police because another passenger “kneed him in the stomach” on the flight heading to New York’s JFK from Kingston, Jamaica on Oct. 20.
The man, who appeared confused about this seat assignment, is shouting at the airline crew and asking, “where is 25A?” Right after, he asked, “why did she knee me in the stomach?”
You hear on the video a woman replying, “because you deserve it.”
Other passengers chime in and things go from bad to worse.
The man, starts to stand,
“Excuse me I’m part West African, I can say n- —r anytime I want” before yelling, “you kneed me in the stomach. I want to press charges.”
A woman, presumably the one he claims kneed him the stomach, can be heard in the background replying that she stepped over him.
Other passengers told flight crew members that the “kneeing incident” the man is upset about didn’t happen.
The man can be heard yelling, “take that n- —r b—h off the plane!” before grinning.
“You need to stop, there are children,” a flight attendant says.
“N- —r!” the man shouts, cutting her off.
“Hey, that’s not necessary,” someone says.
The rant went on so long, other passengers got irritated and it escalated to violence. One male passenger reportedly threw a punch and other passengers took physical shots at him during the chaos.
Kingston police officers escorted the guy off the plane in handcuffs.
The airline has banned the passenger following his racist tirade, a JetBlue spokesperson told TMZ.
“We have zero tolerance for racism or harassment, and after reviewing this customer’s abhorrent racist behavior, we have determined he is no longer welcome to fly JetBlue.”
