Whether you prefer cajun or creole cuisine mixed with some southern fusion, New Orleans has the eats to die for. Here are some of the most expensive restaurants to go to in the NOLA.

1. Restaurant R'Evolution

Restaurant R’Evolution is one of the most expensive restaurants in New Orleans. A concept developed by two top chefs, John Folse and Rick Tramonto. An average dinner for two will cost you about $175. Restaurant R’Evolution is also home to the most expensive charcuterie board in New Orleans for $80. 

2. Restaurant August

Known for their “Contemporary Creole cuisine with a focus on Louisiana ingredients.” Chef John Besh is the head chef of Restaurant August. Their menu is seasonal. Dinner for two could range from $125-$145.

3. Antoine's Restaurant

Antoine’s Restaurant provides various menu items from seafood and steak to popular New Orleans dishes. The most talked- about offerings at Antoine’s  include oysters Rockefeller, eggs sardou, soufflé potatoes, and the flaming café brûlot.

4. Commander's Palace

Winner of six James Beard awards. World renowned chefs Jamie Shannon, Paul Prudhomme, and Emeril Lagasse have made Commander’s Palace one of the most iconic restaurants in New Orleans. Their popular dishes are creole crawfish gnocchi, gulf yellowfin tuna, redfish ceviche, and shrimp and tasso henican. The most talked about item on the menu is their Antelope served with shitake mushroom, black rice, brussel sprouts, and toasted almonds.

5. Brennan's Restaurant

Located on Royal Street in the French Quarter, Brennan’s is home to many extraordinary dishes. Be sue to try their most talked about dish, the flaming banana foster.

6. Doris Metropolitan

Also located in the French Quarter Doris Metropolitan is known for their steaks. You should order your steak meal with appetizers such as charred eggplant or grilled artichokes with tzatziki sauce. 

7. Galatoire's

Located on Bourbon Street, Galatoire’s is known for their traditional New Orleans cuisine and classy appeal. Make sure you try the shrimp rémoulade and trout amandine.
