Is TikTok the new Yelp? That’s what it seems like! Over on TikTok, New Yorkers have been documenting their favorite bars, restaurants, brunch locations, and even favorite late-night dessert spots. Some of these places have since gone VIRAL! Here’s a list of some of my favorite viral TikTok restaurants. 

Omar’s Kitchen 

Omar’s Kitchen, located in the Lower East Side, has been making its rounds on TikTok as one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the city. Not only does the ambiance make you feel like you are at a beach bar, but the food will give you the same feeling. They also have outdoor seating and are open for both Dinner (on weekdays & weekends) & Brunch (on the weekend).

Lou Lou’s 

Lou Lou’s is a popular French Bistro which made its TikTok claim to fame by grabbing the audience with its unique drinks. Serving drinks out of birds, crystal balls, and other beautiful objects have grabbed the attention of every New Yorker. Though the drinks were the reason for its popularity, the food is not to be missed.

NoMo Kitchen 

Welcome to TikTok’s favorite brunch spot! This is such a bold statement but coming from a New Yorker, TikTok is right. Aesthetically, this is an Instagram worthy restaurant for sure. However, don’t let that fool you, Nomo Kitchen is actually both stunning & affordable.

Electric Lemon

It’s the views for me! Electric Lemon is the new “it” spot located in Hudson Yards. With a view of the Hudson, plus the view of the famous Hudson Yard Steps, it was sure to make this list.

Sage – Williamsburg 

TikTok’s favorite Thai place brings you to Sage in Williamsburg. Thai food meets tapas with small plates perfect for group sharing. Their outdoor dining is also a great place to take some photos and bask in the ambiance.

Dudley’s 

Have you ever asked the bartender to surprise you? Well, at Dudley’s they have what they call “The Bartender’s Choice”. You pick the type of liquor you want and the bartender makes a drink catered to you. This has created somewhat of popularity amongst New Yorkers and Tourists.

Prince Tea House 

Let’s talk about dessert! This tea house has been making its rounds. There are a few locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, making this tea & dessert house accessible to all.

A Brand new Black-owned Caribbean restaurant has caught the attention of the internet! This place is said to make you feel like you are on an island, even in cold New York winters.
