Great Wolf Lodge is a chain of indoor parks based in the United States, popular for its indoor water parks and resorts. It is a family-friendly destination offering something for all ages. This highly-rated choice features excellent dining options, designated activity spaces, and complimentary activities. The accommodations at Great Wolf Lodge are convenient and relatively inexpensive compared to other family destinations like Disney.

One of the main attractions is the indoor water park, allowing families to visit year-round regardless of the weather. Great Wolf Lodge has a stellar reputation as a family destination, and its upcoming new opening is expected to further enhance that reputation and reinvigorate its fan base.

The New Great Wolf Lodge Location

As North America’s largest chain of indoor water park resorts, Great Wolf Lodge has expanded significantly over the years. The nature-themed resort features mascots, such as the popular Wiley the Wolf, who enhance the experience for kids. Since its first opening in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, in 1997, the chain has grown to 22 locations across the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. Most locations are in North America, and a new one is about to excite residents of the South.

The highly anticipated Great Wolf Lodge in Naples, Florida, will be the state’s first and marks a significant expansion. Located at 3900 City Gate Blvd., near the I-75 and Collier Boulevard interchange, this new location will span at least 20 acres and include 500 suites. The $250 million endeavor will feature a 100,000-square-foot indoor water park with 12 slides, three pools, and two water play zones. Additionally, it will have an outdoor hot tub area with cabanas for adults.

When Will The New Location Open?

Great Wolf Lodge South Florida is set to open its doors on September 25, 2024. This will be the second and final location to open in 2024, promising unique features for families to enjoy. The Florida location will benefit from the state’s great weather, enhancing the experience for travelers beyond the water park’s doors.
