If you keep up with rapper Ludacris, then you know how much he proudly supports his wife Eudoxie’s African heritage. She was born and raised in Gabon and travels back often to see her relatives.

Over the holidays, Luda and his entire family took a trip to Gabon to spend time with Eudoxie’s family before visiting Ghana for a little while.

But, what made the trip even more special was that Eudoxie surprised Ludacris, their daughters, and Luda’s mother with a gift of dual citizenship to her homeland. The rapper took to Instagram to show his excitement and to publicly thank his wife.

Last year, comedian Tiffany Haddish announced that she had officially secured citizenship in Eritrea.

While she was born and raised in Los Angeles, the star’s father was born in Eritrea. Just a few years ago, she visited his home country to reconnect with her family and sadly, bury her father. She often talks about her Eritrean roots and made the decision to make it official.
