The Henley Global Passport Index has released its official rankings for 2022. The organization is the premier authority ranking the passports of all the countries in the world, according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. Based upon data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and supported by the Henley & Partners expert team of researchers, the Index is considered to be accurate and credible. According to the Index, these are the most powerful Caribbean passports this year:
10. Belize
Holders of Belizean passports can access 101 countries without the need to obtain a prior visa, allowing the nation to rank 10th in the Caribbean and 52nd globally on the Index.
9. Grenada
Ranking at numbers eight and nine are the islands of Dominica and Grenada, which both come in on the global list at #33, for a three-way tie with Macao. Citizens of each of these nations enjoy visa-free access to 144 destinations.
