Bali’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has announced its collaboration with Airbnb. As part of the Live and Work Anywhere campaign, Airbnb is promoting Bali as one of the best destinations for remote workers to live.

“Airbnb is partnering with Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, promoting Bali as part of our Live and Work Anywhere program, designed to highlight outstanding global destinations for remote working. The Indonesian province has been blazing a trail for years as a leading destination for aspiring digital nomads.,” says the website.
Bali Digital Nomad Visa
Back in September, digital nomads were able to apply for a B211A visa, which allows tourists to work in the country for six months without paying income tax.
Airbnb’s Bali Digital Nomad page recommends the perfect stays, advice on weather, visa requirements, information on phone and internet, as well as local customs.

The head of Airbnb’s public policy division for Southeast Asia, Mich Goh, expressed that the partnership should help attract millions of remote workers to Bali. He also mentioned the importance of promoting the lesser-known areas of Bali, such as Banjar and the Nusa Islands to attract people to stay in those areas as well.
