Fans of House of Gucci can visit locations from the movie while vacationing in Italy, according to Travel Pulse. The 2021 film is based on the family behind one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands.
Quiiky Tours, the first tour company in Italy to specialize in LGBTQ+ tours, is offering a full day tour that takes guests to various Milan and Lake Como filming locations, some of which are where the actual events being depicted in the film happened.
Alessio Virgili, Co-Founder and CEO of Sonders & Beach, the parent company of Quiiky Tours, said, “The great buzz surrounding the ‘House of Gucci’ biopic inspired us to create this unique tour.”
The cost for the tour begins at $295 and includes the train ride from Milan to Lake Como and back as well as all entrance fees.
Some of the first locations visited during the tour include Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Scala Square, and the Fashion District. These, along with Milan’s Central Station and Via Vittor Pisani, can be seen in the movie.
Villa Necchi Campiglio, which is now a museum containing its original art and furniture, is next on the itinerary. Visitors can admire its architectural beauty and its pool, garden, and tennis court.
In Milan, the tour also visits Il Salumaio, a restaurant where stars Lady Gaga and Adam Driver dined on-screen.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit the former Gucci headquarters where Maurizio Gucci was assassinated as well as the Church of San Sepolcro, the real-life location of he and Patrizia Reggiani’s wedding.
Quiiky Tours can arrange private transfers or help arrange special events for an added fee. Guests of the tour can also spend a night at one of the tour locations, the luxurious Villa Balbiano, for an additional fee. The palazzo is the largest private residence on Lake Como’s western shore.
