We don’t know what your bank account looks like, and that’s none of our business. But if you’ve got about $50,000 per night to spend on an exclusive Caribbean getaway, check out Musha Cay. It’s part of the Exuma chain of islands in The Bahamas.

What justifies the hefty price tag, anyway? Well, the island can only be rented to one group at a time, ensuring complete privacy. Moreover, the houses have to be rented together, not individually. Whether it’s a birthday, wedding or just a get- together, this is a once- in -a- lifetime opportunity to splurge like you never have before.

The island is monitored by a team of experts who can help curate an ideal itinerary for you and your group.

There’s a full staff as well, ensuring you won’t have to lift a finger. According to The New York Post, “the island has 30 staff members: daily housekeepers, cooks, butlers, gardeners and a boatman among them.”

What Is Musha Cay Like?

If you’re looking for luxury and seclusion, Musha Cay provides both.

It even has its own website, which says, “brought to life by legendary illusionist David Copperfield, this ultra-private tropical retreat is available for exclusive rental only, offering dream-like experiences for up to 24 guests of your selection.”

The island is home to “five spectacular guest houses,” all tropical in style.

The bedrooms have four poster beds, en-suite bathrooms and private decks. What’s more, each home has its own private beach.

Do The Houses Have Names?

Yes.

First, there’s Highview, so named because it’s on Musha Cay’s highest hill. There are two grand master suites here.

Pier House is actually a cottage, with a pier opening out to the sea. Perfect for four people.

Blue Point “is a few seconds’ walk from its own private beach. In addition to its 3,200 square feet of interior space (two master suites, an expansive living-dining room), it is encircled by a wide, shaded porch.”

Palm Terrace is recommended for families, as it has five bedrooms.

Lastly, there’s Beach House, the smallest of the houses. One of most peculiar aspects of this property is that it has a wall-less bathroom and living room.

What Activities Are Available?

The team of experts at Musha Cay can arrange for just about any activity you can think of.

Fireworks? Sure, why not. Bespoke theater productions? Absolutely.

They can even arrange a mini Olympics, allowing family and friends to engage in sporting events. There’s a medal ceremony and cocktails afterwards.

That’s not an exhaustive list, by the way.

What About Dining?

At Musha Cay, dining is like a full body experience. There are several different settings: a Balinese pavilion, a dock, a sandbar and for something really different, there’s Dave’s Drive Through.

According to the website, the drive through “is an old-fashioned, larger-than-life, outdoor theater that conjures a bygone era of drive-in movies, slow summer nights and toes in the sand.”

How Do You Get There?

Catch a hour-long flight from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale.

Once you arrive at Georgetown Airport in Great Exuma, “a 15-minute charter flight takes you direct to Copperfield Bay’s private airstrip.”

For a really bougie entrance, take a private yacht into Copperfield Bay, which “has excellent deep-water docking.”
