A flight attendant tapped into his humor during an announcement on designer carry-on bags. The clip has gone viral on TikTok.
The unnamed flight attendant is an employee of Southwest Airlines. The video shows him cracking a joke on a flight bound for Raleigh from Denver, which made passengers laugh.
The video was posted by Medonna, or divine_sorrow916, who encouraged the airline to give him a raise.
What Did The Flight Attendant Say?
He said, “guys, we’ve done an extensive study here at Southwest.”
He then listed a number of high-end designer brands, including Gucci, Prada and Michael Kors.
“They can fit underneath the seats in front of you,” he went on. “And if they were real, you wouldn’t be flying Southwest to begin with.”
Tik Tok Users Respond
Coach, one of the brands mentioned, playfully wrote, “come on now, don’t drag us into this.”
Jen wrote, “bro…. we flying southwest because the bags are real and we gotta save that money somewhere. My bag can’t go on the floor.”
Deb Padgett said she’d seen the flight attendant before.
“He was on my Denver-Chicago O’Hare flight about a month ago. Hysterical!”
Jokes Aside, Safety Is Important
Southwest and other carriers are serious about passengers either putting their carry- on bags in the overhead bins or under the seats in front of them.
The reason? Safety.
In the event of an emergency, there can’t be the risk of tripping over anything.
