For many travelers, the mandatory safety demonstration is something that they have seen so many times that some people may ignore it. However, passengers of an EasyJet flight experienced a very unique situation minutes before the flight took off from Gatwick to Amsterdam earlier this month. This is because an EasyJet flight attendant named Zavie decided to give a hilarious entertainment performance to grab the passengers’ attention.

The show was caught on video and shared on TikTok by Laura Saraby (@laura_saraby) this month. It has gone viral with over 250,000 views.

In the video, the EasyJet crew member was grooving while giving safety instructions about putting on a life vest and managing breath in water. The ‘performer’ also made people laugh with very funny facial expressions.

“This EasyJet flight attendant added his own flair to the safety announcement after noticing no one was paying attention,” Now This News tweeted. The clip has garnered more than 31,100 views on Twitter.

“We were heading to Amsterdam for a long weekend.I just saw the flight attendants do the fun dance and thought it would make a good TikTok.This was just before take-off. He was definitely trying to make it more entertaining. It was quite funny, ” Laura Saraby told Mirror. “Everyone else was enjoying it and he seemed to be loving it,” she added.

The TikToker also said that the flight attendant found her on the platform.

In an interview with Mirror, Zane said that he wanted to relax passengers who now face current stressful moments going through the whole airport process.

“They’ve been up for hours or they’ve been traveling with kids. The airport process these days is very stressful, regardless of whether you’ve got self-check-in or speedy boarding,” he said. “I was feeling a bit of a vibe that people were tired of the gate staff and there were a couple of days on this flight,” Zane added.

The Tiktok video has received hundreds of thousands of comments. Some users of this social media streaming site called for Zavie to get a pay rise.

“Yasssss @Zavie bestie get that pay rise!”

“What a fabulous way to get the pax to pay attention during safety demo”

“I cannot stop watching this”
