For many travelers, Dubai is known for being one of the world’s most luxurious destinations. From its magnificent skyscrapers and stunning hotels to its burnished sandy shores, Dubai attracts people from all over the world who want to explore its opulence. Now, Atlantis Resorts is working to make Dubai even fancier. The company announced that it is launching the most ultra-luxury resort in the world. Named Atlantis The Royal, the $1.4bn megaproject will be located on Palm Island and it’s scheduled to open in October 2022. Atlantis Resorts is a subsidiary of Kerzner International, a global developer and operator of destination resorts, ultra-luxury hotels and residences.
Designed by world-renowned New York architecture firm Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), the 43-story building glitters on the crescent of The Palm, located just next door to sister property Atlantis, The Palm, where residents and guests of the Royal Atlantis Hotel will have access to its facilities.
This ultra-luxury entertainment resort features exquisite rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows so guests can soak in the spellbinding views of the Dubai skyline and the Arabian Sea.
The resort’s three towers will be home to 795 fit-for-royalty rooms, suites and signature penthouses, while 44 suites are home to private pools where you can swim in the sky. With an infinity sky pool, three guest pools and 2km of beachfront, you can choose how you want to spend your day out. A perfect place to soak up the sun of Dubai.
Guests will be able to enjoy 17 signature restaurants, eight of which are led by celebrity chefs, and relax in the lavish spa that offers a sensory experience with traditional therapies. There are also 17 treatment rooms, a halotherapy salt cave and a 25-meter lap pool, as well as an outdoor meditation and yoga lawn.
The resort will provide guests with the best entertainment proposal in Dubai such as fire and water fountain shows, and luxury lounges that come alive at night with live music.
