A delayed Air Canada fight angered some passengers not only for the delay but for the flight crew’s actions. After a 3+ hour delay, one passenger was furious as the airline crew conducted a tarmac “photo shoot”.
One woman expressed her disappointment in a social media post that gained the attention of many. The Air Canada passenger filmed the crew, commenting: “Everyone on our flight wondering why we’re three plus hours delayed…”
She then flipped her camera to show the plane grounded on the tarmac, adding: “The flight attendants having a literal photoshoot outside, on the plane.”
Her TikTok video (@sugywitdahoodie) has caused mixed reaction from users.

Many have suggested that the crew are likely waiting just as the passengers are. One TikTok user commented: “It’s not their fault the plane is delayed, so they can do whatever they want while they also wait”. Another user simply commented: “and they slayed”.
A common theme in the comment section was users noting that airline staff are not paid for the boarding process until the doors shut. One user summarised it in this comment which has 10.3K likes: ” Not so fun fact: flight attendants are not paid on the ground, boarding, during delays, at the airport, etc so might as well do a photoshoot”.
