With remakes of our favorite childhood classics being released, it’s no surprise that more and more people are looking to live out childhood memories in their adult life.

As always, there are a few ‘Debbie Downers’ in the world who just don’t want to let people live. Recently, a mom took to her Twitter page to call on Disney World to ban people without kids from the park. The post was screenshot and shared via the post below.

This screenshot, which has since gone viral, sparked a debate on the platform. Users went back and forth on the idea of whether visiting the family-friendly theme park without kids was weird.

Just like myself, many of those who weighed-in see no issue with going to the park without little ones and even look forward to one day visiting the park alone.

There have never been any official rules on who can and cannot enter the park. After all, Walt Disney was an adult full of imagination when he set out to create his brand. He has always been about celebrating his guests, no matter what age or stage of life they may be in.

“To all who come to this happy place: welcome. Disneyland is your land,” Walt Disney said at the opening of the park in 1955. “Here age relives fond memories of the past – and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams and the hard facts that have created America – with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.”

What do you think about the mom’s Twitter rant? Was she speaking facts or just big mad?
