If Jamaica is on your list, consider Rick Ross’ epic vacation on the island your inspiration to go. “Mr. Rich Forever” recently visited Jamaica to headline Sandz Caribbean Music Festival, held at Plantation Cove in St. Ann, Jamaica.

According to Urban Islandz, Rick Ross flew to Jamaica on his private jet  – named Maybach Airlines – for the work-play getaway. Shortly before his arrival, he spoke at a virtual press conference on the impact of Jamaican music on a global scale.

“When I think of Jamaican culture, when I think of Bob Marley, when I think of so many different other artists that are just so powerful and influential – and not just in Florida and not just Miami – but really the whole culture of music, it is bigger than we could ever imagine. When I think of music, and Bob Marley, there’s almost nobody I feel that has had a bigger impact on life, not just music. It’s a beautiful thing,” Rick Ross said during the press conference.

When you’re looking for things to do in Jamaica, consider a best-life vacation like that of the American CEO and rapper.

Enjoy Jamaica’s Beauty By White Water Rafting On The White River

Take in the beauty of Jamaica’s lush natural landscape while white water rafting like the Maybach Music Group CEO did while in Jamaica. Ross documented his water adventures via Instagram stories and appears to enjoy the outing, interacting with others on the river.

Bamboo rafting is a popular adventure activity that also includes learning about the area’s nature and protected wildlife. Experienced guides navigate 30-foot bamboo rafts down the river as you relax and enjoy the scenery. Go for a swim or stay onboard with a rum punch in hand for a relaxing day in paradise.

Go Tubing On One Of Jamaica’s Scenic Rivers

Like Rick Ross, grab your trusted travel crew and check off bucket list adventure activities during your stay in Jamaica. While it’s unclear if “The Biggest Boss” was pushed to the limit on this experience, it’s certainly one he won’t forget.

Tubing is available on White River as well as several other locations across the island like River Rapids, Blue Hole, and Martha Brae.

Experience Jamaica’s Nightlife

From low-key beach bars to trendy nightclubs and lounges, nightlife in Jamaica is not to be missed no matter what type of outing you prefer. Jamaica is legendary for its nightlife, known to last well into the early morning hours depending on where you go.

Negril is considered to have tourist-oriented nightlife, like the famous Rick’s Cafe. Montego Bay, however, is considered the best destination for nightlife among locals.

Attend One Of Many Music Festivals

While you may not be headlining your festival of choice like Rick Ross, attending one as a spectator is a great way to experience local vibes and culture. Festival culture in the Caribbean is a unique experience that must be had at least once in your life.

The most popular music festivals in Jamaica spotlight top acts in blues, reggae, jazz, and dancehall. They’re also often where you’ll find some of the best food, art, and connection to be enjoyed on the island. Reggae Sumfest, Carnival, and the MoBay Jerk Festival are just a few of the cultural and culinary experiences you can enjoy while in Jamaica.
