Magic and Cookie Johnson have been sprinkling their Instagram accounts with snapshots from their annual summer vacation. The power couple kicked off this year’s trip by bouncing around Spain, including Barcelona and Ibiza. The duo, married for over 32 years, have been accompanied on their Euro Summer travels by couples LaTanya and Samuel L. Jackson, and Cedric the Entertainer and his wife Lorna Wells.
On July 1, Magic and Cookie jointly posted on their respective Instagram accounts that they were “officially on vacation.” The two enjoyed a meal at Boca Grande in Barcelona, including a seafood rice dish. Their photo dump showed them dapperly dressed and posed next to the Jacksons and another couple, businesswoman Vicki Palmer and her husband, John.
Cedric and Lorna joined the group in Ibiza. The four couples enjoyed a freshly caught sea bass and lobster lunch, then a farm-to-table dinner.
The group seemingly enjoyed themselves as they boogied down during an ’80s-themed party in Saint-Tropez. A clip of the festivities showed Magic and Samuel particularly vibrant while everyone danced. In the caption of a July 8 post, the NBA icon and his wife said, “We had the best time and danced all night long!”
The following day, Magic and Cookie updated their followers on where their Euro Summer vacation took them next. The two and their high-profile couple friends enjoyed a special dinner at Mamo Michelangelo in Antibes, France.
The couple gave a warm shoutout to the restaurant owner in the caption of their joint Instagram post. Magic and Cookie said, “A special thanks to restaurant owner Mamo, who has been our good friend for 30 years, for being such an amazing host! @mamomichelangelo.”
What Else Have Magic And Cookie Been Up To On Vacation?
Throughout their summer travels this year, Cookie has gushed about seeing Spain’s Catholic churches. She visited Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia and the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma in Mallorca. Both are historic sites with stunning architecture that the 65-year-old raved about.
Meanwhile, Magic has been enjoying the yacht life to the fullest. The 64-year-old former Lakers player happily showed off the amazing sunrise he witnessed in Spain before getting into an early morning workout.
“I had a magical start to my day today cutting loose on the jet skis!” he added in the caption of another post.
