Located about an hour outside of Nashville, the Humble Baron bar is a landmark you’ll want to visit during your next trip to Tennessee. The Shelbyville-based drinking hole is proudly home to the world’s longest bar. In a May 2024 Essence article, co-founder Keith Weaver shared that the space had over 230,000 visitors in 2023 following its March opening.
While speaking with the outlet, Keith noted that different bar sections take on different vibes depending on the night and the venue’s happenings. He shared an example: “There’s one section of the bar, which is close to where the photo booth is, and it ends up being like the turn-up section.”
“If you came to the bar by yourself or with a group, you’re still, in a sense, a part of a community,” he added. “You could still see people and interact with them, even if you’re not talking to them. It’s a shared experience.”
