The Netherlands – Tulip Festival

Washington, D.C. – National Cherry Blossom Festival
Each year, the cherry blossoms bring life to the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. The festival is a treat for the whole family, so mark your calendar for March 20 to April 14, 2024.

Japan – Akeno Sunflower Festival
Japan has quite a few flower festivals. The one in Akeno specifically started in 1993 and this year it runs until August 20. Not only can visitors enjoy the sunflowers, but there’s also an on-site maze, which the kids might enjoy. Admission is free. You can drive to the venue or catch a taxi from the JR Nirasaki Station.
St. Lucia – La Rose and La Marguerite Flower Festivals
La Rose and La Marguerite are the two major flower festivals in St. Lucia. Each side, as they are called, represents two competing societies, and there’s quite a lot of pomp and pageantry. The Rose Festival is celebrated in August while The Marguerite Festival is in October.
