Drake is now the homeowner of a 313-acre ranch and former resort named The Inn at Dos Brisas in Brenham, Texas. According to Texas Monthly, the Canadian rapper paid $15 million for the abode last fall.

The main house is reportedly a 14,300-square-foot Mediterranean-style build. The property seems to be the perfect blend of what you’d expect in any celebrity mansion and an idyllic large farm. There’s a 7,000-bottle wine cellar, a large outdoor dining patio, and a sizable pool. The grounds reportedly have tennis courts, basketball courts, and a shooting range. There are also stables and horseback riding facilities. The home purchase even came with the horses onsite.

A heart-shaped pond on the property was included in photos shared by Culture Map Austin. The “stocked” small freshwater site is reportedly one of three on the Inn at Dos Brisas’ grounds. Additionally, the publication noted that the main house is “surrounded by gorgeous pecan trees [and] wildflowers.”

Besides the main building, the property has additional living spaces too. The five 1,795-square-foot haciendas on the property are Spanish colonials, each with a private pool. There are reportedly also four 800-square-foot smaller houses as well.

It’s unclear what Drake plans for the property, but the private Texas estate truly seems like a farm-to-table paradise. It reportedly has 42 sprawling acres of organic farmland and a 7,000-square-foot, year-round “high-tech greenhouse.”

Where Exactly Is Drake’s Texas Ranch?

The Brenham-based ranch is in Washington County, Texas. The city is reportedly known for its German heritage festival, Manifest, thrown every May. The Inn at Dos Brisas is about an hour and twenty minutes from Drake’s beloved Houston, and just under two hours from Austin.

The property stopped being a resort in 2022 after 17 years. It was listed on the market in April of that year, and early 2023. Drake purchased the ranch in October of last year.

“Dos Brisas is a rare legacy ranch property that offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right buyer, which we were able to find once we listed it bringing the price in line with the market conditions at the time,” said Tonya Currie, the property’s listing agent.
