Over 20,000+ global innovators and inclusive tech experts take the main stages on Thursday, November 14th, and Friday, November 15th. Furthermore, bookend events include the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, November 13th, and a BHP Block Party on Saturday, November 16th. 

Registration starts at 10 a.m. (CST) at the George R. Brown Convention Center, where there will be an Expo Hall in the following days to showcase industry leaders and tech vendors. Get Away: Getting To and Around The AfroTech Conference

By Air 

AfroTech Conference 2024 will be approximately 10 miles from William P. Hobby Airport and approximately 20 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. Most important, there are convenient taxi and ride-share services and car rentals to reach the event from the airport. For those preferring public transportation, the METRO bus service offers routes from the airport to downtown Houston.

By Car

For those driving to AfroTech, there’s convenient access to the George R. Brown Convention Center via the main entrances on Avenida De Las Americas. Ample parking options are available around the convention center for attendees who prefer to drive. Additionally, details about rideshare pickup and dropoff locations will be provided closer to the event date.

By Public Transit

Attendees can reach the AfroTech Conference in Houston by using METRO Public Transit to the George R. Brown Convention Center. The nearest bus stop is at Avenida De Las Americas and Dallas Street, which is a short walk from the main venue entrance. With fares starting at just $1.25 one-way, METRO offers an affordable and convenient option for getting to the event.
