Atlanta-based friends “Barney” Lee Berry Jr and Dr. Rashad Sanford dreamed of the day they could open a gathering spot. They envisioned a place people could go to enjoy food, talk about news and culture while sipping cocktails, and create lasting memories with friends.
That dream came true in August 2020 when they opened Breakfast At Barney’s, part brunch hotspot and part daytime social club with great food and even better music.

The menu has something for everyone. From lamb & eggs and vegan French toast to fried catfish & spaghetti.
We knew you wouldn’t know where to start, so here are our personal recommendations when dining in.
For the chicken and waffles lovers, order the Yard Bird (fried chicken wings served with a pecan waffle and bourbon apple maple syrup).
If you enjoy a savory breakfast, the Savannah fish & grits is a must-have. It comes with cornmeal-crusted catfish and creamy grits topped with a special sauce.
