From museums to festivals, history tours, concerts and more there is so much to do in Philadelphia. Just as diverse as the culture is in Philly, there is also great diversity in the cuisine to enjoy. This list focuses on brunch spots. Try one or two on your next trip to Philly.

Sabrina’s Cafe
A place where they want you to feel like you are eating at home or at a friend that really knows how to cook. Sabrina’s Cafe opened in May of 2001 and now with its five locations is serving amazing food with a twist at an affordable price. Try the Toto’s special french toast. The cinnamon brown sugar peach whipped mascarpone is to die for.
Sandler’s On 9th
Sandler’s sources local products that were sustainably wild- caught and never farm raised. Natural, local, sustainable food at your fingertips is the motto for this restaurant. Try the Braised-N-Confused, it’s brisket, fried egg, peppers and onions, sharp provolone, and served on Sarcone’s kaiser roll with home fries.

Cafe La Maude
Café La Maude specializes in serving a French and Lebanese-influenced cuisine. A brunch recommendation here is the sweet potato benny. This Benedict comes with (2) Poached Eggs, spicy sujuk (Lebanese sausage), sweet potato hash, diced mangoes, onions & green peppers and is topped with hollandaise sauce & avocado
Miles Table
“Where the neighborhood eats” is the slogan for this local Philly eatery. Miles table also provides catering of their delicious menus for events, businesses, and more. If you’re dining in the restaurant go for the El Guapo Buritto. Also, Monday thru Friday you can get all you can eat pancakes for only $5 from 8 am – 10 am.
The Breakfast Boutique
Ok, this is one of those “don’t judge a book by its cover” type of places. While the exterior may not be what you come to expect when you think of a brunch location at the Breakfast Boutique it’s all about the food. Crowd favorites include the red velvet waffles, sauteed shrimp and grits, and the fried catfish. Give it a try, there will be no disappointment to your taste buds.

Pretty Girls Cook
Who runs the world? In this house, it’s definitely GIRLS! Pretty Girls Cafe is serving delicious food and honoring women of color through an amazing wall mural. Don’t let the name fool you, these pretty girls are throwing down in the kitchen with dishes like their shrimp and grits (voted best in Philly by customers ) or the “Not Mary’s Lamb” lamb lollipops. Also, they have BYOB for brunch mimosas.
Honey’s Sit-N-Eat
BYOB, cash only, and no reservations are how things are done at Honey’s Sit-N-Eat. Since 2005 Honey’s has been serving the North Philly area and now with a second location their clientele and popularity continues to grow. My eyes (and stomach) are set on the country fried steak and gravy.
Warmdaddy’s
Named as one of Philly’s top jazz clubs, Warmdaddy’s has all the essentials for a great brunch atmosphere, food, live music and bottomless mimosas. The Sunday brunch buffet includes a salad station, made to order omelet & waffle station, and entrees stations (jerk chicken, shrimp etouffee, etc.). $27.95 with a required reservation lets you sit back and enjoy these good vibes and live music.

Rhythm and Brunch
Funnel cake fries drizzled with a caramel sauce and powdered sugar! That’s how you start at Rhythm and Brunch. This Philadelphia gem is serving up some amazing dishes for brunch to keep you coming back “Constantllllly” (keeping with the music theme – Immature r&b throwback). R&B music and good vibes fill the atmosphere while good food and drinks fill your belly. The Grillboard Top 10 Hits menu (a play on Billboard Top 10) is certain to have something for everyone to enjoy.
Green Eggs Cafe
This isn’t your Dr. Seuss green eggs and ham, it’s a whole “eggsperience” that you don’t want to miss out on. From the benedicts to the french toast and the massive combination that makes “The Cure” (a loaded french fry dish) the whole menu at Green Eggs Cafe is sure to delight brunchers with every bite. They offer mimosas and bellinis as brunch drink options as well. Try the Klause (elderflower syrup, mint, lime, and prosecco) or Orange Dreamsicle (prosecco, vanilla and orange juice).
Ants Pants Cafe
Bringing the flavors from down under to Philadelphia you have Ants Pants Cafe. Now with two locations, you have a better chance of shortening your wait time (depending on your distance from each). There are some hash dishes on the menu here that I want to dive right into. The beef hash (ground sirloin with tomato and onion over shoestring fries with two sunny eggs and house-made ranch dressing) and the Italian sweet potato hash (bacon, sunny style eggs, Italian sausage and garlic aioli) both sound amazing to me.
