Do you love a scenic train ride? Love the peace and serenity that comes along with it? Well this train company just announced that it is upping the ante with an all new offering coming to Colorado and Utah.
Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer, known for its famous glass dome trains, will begin offering routes across both the Utah and Colorado areas in 2021. The two-day route, ‘Rockies to the Red Rocks,’ will journey from Denver to Moab, Utah. It will also include an overnight hotel stay in Colorado, too.
The route will launch with limited preview boarding’s between August 15 and October 23, 2021. On top of the picturesque mountain views, this luxury train experience includes locally-sourced cuisine, high-end service, as well as some storytelling along the way.
“This region, with its magnificent scenery, national parks, vast opportunities to explore, will delight millions,” Peter Armstrong, founder of Rocky Mountaineer said in a statement.
Reservations for the route will open in the next month or so. There will be a health screening prior to boarding as well as other safety measures in place to protect all guests and crew members.
You can reserve a seat with a $25 deposit. The total 2-day, 1-night experience will cost around $1,250 per person.
