Have you ever dreamt of working in Tuscany’s countryside while sipping on some Chianti? Los Angeles-based Sojrn wants to make that dream a reality. Their month-long, wine-focused program is one of the most popular activities offered by the study abroad program targeted at digital nomads.

There’s no need to use up valuable personal time off days to enjoy the program. Sojrn provides the workspace and Wi-Fi so that you can work remotely in this idyllic setting.

According to the company’s website, no prior knowledge is needed to participate. Participants will live like a local in Tuscany while immersing themselves in wine culture including a personal taste profile session with a sommelier, a day-long trip to a vineyard to learn the winemaking process, a trip to the Tuscan hills for a wine pairing picnic, and a lesson reading wine labels and ordering off a wine menu. To bolster your newly acquired skills, guests will be taken to weekly wine tastings at wine bars.

Remote work has grown in popularity over the past year, as employees entered lockdowns worldwide as part of Covid-19 safety protocols.

This year’s edition takes place October 2nd-29th, 2021, and starts at $3,699 and up depending on the accommodation selected. Flights and food are not included in the cost. The trip is capped at 40 participants but opportunities are available for other experiences in Bali, Athens, Colombia, Tokyo, and Costa Rica.
