Every year Art Basel attracts a multitude of brands, artists, and art lovers to the city of Miami. This year, Nike has a special exhibit for the Off-White aficionados who are fans of the late Virgil Abloh. The exhibit is called “Virgil Abloh: The Codes c/o Architecture.”

The honor:

Nike and Virgil’s VA Securities will host the exhibit from December 1 to December 4. “The Codes” will pay homage to Virgil’s designs during his partnership with Nike as well as give insight into his creativity. “Virgil and Nike thrived together because he understood the brand’s role as a cornerstone of culture while Nike understood the importance of truly supporting creatives and their visions,” says Shannon Abloh, CEO of Virgil Abloh Securities. “This beautiful four-day experience at Miami Art Week will honor their legacy together and champion both Virgil’s open-source methods and his genuine commitment to collaborating with and inspiring others.”

Also, The Codes exhibition will be the introduction to Nike’s latest collaboration with Off-White. Which would be the first Nike sneaker designed from scratch by Abloh, the Nike Terra Forma.
