Delta Airlines is giving their passengers a unique viewing experience with bathroom windows, a first for commercial planes.

Each plane will have three spacious bathrooms; one at the rear that will have a window. Delta wanted to bring international traveling features to domestic flights with their new Airbus A220-100 aircraft model. Remarkable upgrades also including LED ambient lighting, faster Wi-Fi (Gogo-powered 2Ku Wi-Fi) and larger windows throughout the plane, designed to be experience-rich.

“This aircraft is the culmination of years of listening to our customers and responding with design innovations that continue to improve Delta’s domestic in-flight experience,” S.V.P. and Chief Marketing Officer Tim Mapes said.

The Airbus A220-100 holds 109 passengers with only 12 First Class seats. The new design offers more space in coach seating and additional legroom in the Comfort Plus seats, according to Delta. Upgrades to the Main Cabin include seatback screens, 18.6-inch seats, personal power ports for each passenger and premium entertainment, similar to other airlines. First Class will have 20-inch seats, chef-curated meals, hand-selected wine and noise canceling headphones for noisy travelers.

Delta also aims to replace 20 percent of their older aircraft with something more fuel efficient, as part of their larger fleet modernization program by 2020.

Book your tickets soon. A220 flights begin on January 31, from LaGuardia Airport in NYC to Boston and Dallas. Other routes include flights from Houston to Detroit and Detroit to Dallas.

Delta has ordered 75 A220s, intended to replace regional jets on business routes, according to Forbes.
