Delta Air Lines Teams Up With Starbucks to Launch Epic Loyalty Benefits Program
Delta Air Lines wants you to get your caffeine fix with its latest partnership. The airline has partnered with Starbucks to launch a loyalty benefits program.
Members of Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks® Rewards can turn their love for java into their next travel experience.
How the program works
Once the accounts are successfully linked, members will earn one mile for every dollar spent on eligible orders at Starbucks. Members will earn double Stars on eligible purchases at participating Starbucks stores on days they have a scheduled Delta flight.
Currently, enrolled members and new members of both Delta and Starbucks’ loyalty programs are eligible to receive benefits.
Prashant Sharma, Vice President of Loyalty at Delta says, “We’re continuing to evolve Delta’s SkyMiles program to give our customers valuable, premium experiences not just on the days they travel but in their everyday lives as well.”
Sharma continues, “Through this new partnership with Starbucks, we can deliver more moments and interactions that matter, both in the air and on the ground.”

Creating moments of meaningful connection
Ryan Butz, Vice President, Loyalty Strategy and Marketing and Starbucks says of the partnership, “Starbucks Rewards and Delta SkyMiles are centered on creating moments of meaningful connection, and by bringing together two of the country’s most celebrated loyalty programs we are able to reward our members with more of what they love.”
“We are excited to partner with Delta to offer our members even more valuable benefits, as well as invite more customers to join Starbucks Rewards,” Butz continues.
Customers who link their Delta SkyMiles and Starbucks Rewards accounts between October 12th and December 31st, 2022, will earn an additional 500 miles. Once a qualifying purchase is made, 150 Stars will be earned.
