Ghana is a country that’s so easy to fall in love with that you don’t want to keep such goodness to yourself. So, it’s no surprise that Chance The Rapper plans on taking people with him after the fun he had during his most recent trip.
“Ghana will celebrate its 65th year since it FOUGHT and gained its independence. I wanna go back in a big group in July. I promise you’ll feel at home,” Chance the Rapper announced on his Twitter.

2022 reportedly marked the rapper’s, whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, first visit to Ghana. He was joined by other celebrities, including Vic Mensa, King Promise, and M.anifest.
My Joy Online reports that Bennett along with the other musicians met with Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo to discuss how they could help bridge the gap between American and Ghanaian artists.
In addition to the meeting, Chance appeared to have the time of his life in Ghana, where his family has roots. He visited a church that his family built and according to multiple reports, the rapper revealed that his family built a school in Jamestown years ago.
It was a life-changing experience that promoted the rapper to tweet about the capital city saving his life.

Chance didn’t exactly say why he’s taking people with him in July. However, it’s easy to assume the reason is Republic Day. Ghanaians celebrate the day Ghana became a republic on July 1.
