Gamers in Houston now have something to look forward to on their next trip to Hobby airport.
Houston Ready To Play Games
Houston now has one of the first airports to open a video game lounge for travelers called Gameway. Considered the “ultimate gaming experience for travelers,” Gameway has all the amenities a gamer needs to pass the time comfortably.
There are 15 top-of-the-line luxury gaming stations in the lounge. Six Xbox stations, five Playstation stations, and four PC stations. Each of the stations comes with the latest games. Gameway has also added Razer’s Iskur Gaming Chair and Kraken Headsets to each station.
Award Winning Gaming Lounge
The lounge is designed with wall accents resembling motherboards and pays homage to gaming characters. They also offer plenty of snacks for gamers to refuel while attacking those video game bosses on high-definition screens.
Most travelers from Texas are already familiar with the Gameway brand. Their initial lounges were both in Dallas Airport. The lounge became so popular it won many awards and accolades. They were awarded Best Traveler Amenity in 2019 by the ACI-NA Awards and Most Innovative Customer Experience at the Airport Experience Traveler Awards in 2020.
“Gameway is the real reason to get to the airport early,” said Jordan Walbridge, co-founder of Gameway, in a statement. “Our mission is to upgrade the typical wait-at-the-gate experience with a new stimulating, entertaining option for travelers of all ages.”
