The Land of Smiles, better known as Phuket, will soon have a new entertainment experience that has the internet buzzing. Yona Beach Club, a floating club with 360-degree views, has plans to launch at the end of January 2023. It promises a party like never before.
Located on the shores of Patong, the main tourist town on the west coast of Phuket, Yona Beach club is an oasis at sea. Patong is popular for its nightlife as one of the top attractions for visitors, so it makes sense Yona Beach Club would call this location home.
The unique beach club is a concept six years in the making with a variety of food, drinks, and live music. Yona, named after the CEO’s daughter, will honor Thai influence as it is the inspiration for the concept.
Leave your work and worries on the shore as you set sail and enjoy the stunning ocean views that surround you.
Thailand’s Newest Beach Club
Yona Beach Club is the perfect spot to spend a day or night on the water. The nearly 13,000 sq ft. boat features two floors along with two infinity pools to lounge poolside.
This luxury experience will make you feel like you’ve entered a private club with wood-accented interiors, neutral tones, palm trees, and comfy day beds and cabanas from which to soak in the sun.
The rooftop provides otherworldly sea views in the evening while partying late into the night with a live DJ. The massive floating party gives visitors luxury vibes while also keeping up with the area’s lively reputation.
Although the official launch date is yet to be announced, Yona Beach Club is a must-consider option to add to your list if you’re traveling to Phuket in the near future.
Once open, Yona Beach Club will operate from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. and provide shuttle boats to transport guests to and from the club.
Things to Do In Phuket
Aside from a day (or night) at Yona Beach Club, there are tons of options to keep you exploring while visiting Phuket. From elephant sanctuaries to ATV rides, the city has activities that both R&R travelers and adventure seekers can enjoy.
Spend a Morning With Elephants at Phuket Elephant Sanctuary
Instead of participating in elephant encounters with questionable ethics, Phuket Elephant Sanctuary allows animals to roam freely as they live out their final years in peace. The sanctuary’s mission is to educate tourists on the dangers of elephant tourism, providing an alternate, more ethical, and compassionate elephant tourism experience.
Take a Tour of Phuket City
Guided city tours are a great way to learn more about your chosen destination while getting the inside scoop from locals. The Phuket City Tour provides hotel pickup and visits to top attractions like the Big Buddha statue and sacred Wat Chalong temple. In addition to a stop at the cashew nut factory, the tour also includes opportunities to explore Thai culture and take unforgettable photos along the way.
ATV & Zipline in Phuket Paradise
For thrill-seeking travelers who want a little more action on their trip, an ATV & Zipline Experience has your name all over it. After going off-road to explore the lush jungle by ATV, you’ll fly through treetops on a zipline during this small-group tour. Take in the panoramic views of the Big Buddha statue, get a tour of Southern Phuket, and immerse yourself in the rainforest for a day of adventure.
