If lounging around in the buff is on your bucket list, this is your time to shine.
By popular demand Bare Essentials has organized an extended two-week nude cruise aboard the Carnival Pride, scheduled to depart from Tampa on Sunday, February 13, 2022 — just in time for Valentine’s Day. The longer stay allows travelers from more distant areas like Europe and Australia to get a more robust experience.
The clothing optional itinerary includes six days on the high seas with stops at ports in Colon, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; Kralendijk, Bonaire; Willemstad, Curaçao; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Nassau, Bahamas, with a special visit to Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic.
The cruise was originally to set sail onboard the Carnival Legend in February 2021 but was cancelled amid the pandemic.
In an interview with Cruiseradio.net, Bare Necessities’ spokesperson Rosie Ochoa addressed the misconceptions about the organization and its members, the importance of respect for themselves and the ship’s staff, and safety in all their activities.
“They think that naturists are disgusting, sex-crazed maniacs or that our cruises are for swingers.
“We have a zero-tolerance policy. I like to believe this is what makes us so successful. Feeling safe and being safe are things you can count on when you sail with us.”
